This is our cottage

The hamlet is built on Talaimendi, a coastal hill between the spectacular beach of Zarautz and the mouth of the river Oria. Walking distance from Zarautz, Orio and also very close to San Sebastian.. Here your rural house awaits you; On top of these green meadows, so that you relax at sunset on the spectacular terrace overlooking the cantabrian sea and to delight yourself with the immense richness of Basque gastronomy while discovering the charming corners of our mountains, our beaches, our Forests and our cities.

A 1920´s farmhouse

The rooms and the restaurant are among the wide walls of a historic estate that for years and years has been a farm run by humble farmers and ranchers who thrived in these fertile lands on the shores of the Bay of Biscay.

The building is completely refurbished, but we made sure that it kept its essence completely. That so special essence, which gives it a unique charm thanks to the traditional Basque architectureand the unequaled sunsets that can be enjoyed from the back garden,now converted into the terrace of the restaurant.

In our small gastronomic space, you will find traditionaland homemade dishes. We will serve you with the best of our smiles and with care so that you can enjoy our food with all five senses, without worrying about anything else.

If you come to our restaurant we will offer you a great a la carte service. Enjoy our culinary specialties.

We work daily with top quality products; check it out by trying our grills of monkfish, turbot and cod or our txuletón, with the best txakolísin the region.
